Description |
Halal labeling in Indonesia is developing from time to time. The beginning of giving information on foodstuffs that contain haram substances for Muslims, especially on foods that contain pork. Currently, labeling related to the ingredients of a product is more aimed at products that have passed halal certification by MUI and BPJPH. The halal label is currently the main reason for choosing food, medicine and cosmetic goods for Muslims in Indonesia. There is an update regarding the halal logo on products circulating in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the implementation and history of the halal logo in Indonesia are. This study uses a literature study research method with qualitative descriptive analysis.
