Description The current population increase causes food demand to increase as well. However, the phenomenon that occurs when many transitions function from agricultural land into industrial land and housing. Increasing the land area to the sub-optimal, including the very saline areas can be the alternate development of agriculture. One of the main obstacles due to the salinity is the water deficit or water dehydration which is caused by the low potential of water from the medium on which the crops grow. There are several factors that cause the soil to be saline, ie, intensive evaporation, chemical fertilization on a continuous basis and the most important is the intrusion of sea water.  Plant response to salinity shows the difference that depends on the type of plant and plant resistance to salinity. One damage to plants when plants absorb excessive salt will cause poisoning in old leaves. This will lead to premature leaf aging and reduce the area of ​​leaves that function in photosynthesis.
