Dunn's version of education policy analysis is an intellectual and practical activity to create assessment and communicate policies to produce relevant information. in the process of generating information using research methods and arguments to produce relevant information in analyzing social problems that might arise due to the application of a policy. The approach in policy analysis uses a descriptive and normative approach. Descriptive approaches aim to present information to decision makers, so that decision makers understand the problems that are being highlighted from a policy issue. In conducting education analysis, it is intended to see whether an educational idea is realistic and allows education policies to be implemented. As the problems that develop in the world of education, especially in Indonesia, there are several critical issues including the quality concept in education policy, school-based management, education issues non formal, early childhood education, boarding school.
