Description |
The purpose of this research was to identify the protein value of stray cats and domestic pet cats in Surabaya. In this study blood samples were collected from 28 stray cats and 28 domestic pet ctas. Total protein value were determined by Pacar Laboratory Surabaya. The result showed that 11 samples stray cats (39%) were abnormal which 7 samples were 4,5-4,7 (hipo) and 4 samples were 9,1-10,1 g/dL (hiper). Total protein value from domestic pet cats were 7 samples (25%) abnormal which 4 samples were 5,3-5,8 g/dL (decreasing) and 3 samples were 8,9-9,4 g/dL (Increasing). Data analysis used independent sample t-test with SPSS for Windows with significant level 0.05. The results of data analysis showed not significantly. In conclusion between stray cats and domestic pet cats had risk of hipo and hiper total protein value that indication of any disease. |
