This research is motivated by a phenomenon that students consider Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as less important to them or it can be said that students underestimate PAI because this subject is not included in the UNAS school lessons. In this case the researcher will see how the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the PAI learning spirit in MI Al Hikmah Purwoasri and MI Sunan Ampel Bono Tulungagung. In this research, observation, interview and documentation methods are used. Observation is used to obtain an overview of the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in terms of growing the spirit of PAI learning in MI Al Hikmah Purwoasri and MI Sunan Ampel Bono Tulungagung which are used as research data. While the documentation and interview methods used are used to dig up data about populations, samples, educational facilities and infrastructure and MI documents. The work done by the teacher in fostering student enthusiasm is among others through direction, through appreciation or riward and through assignments.
