Description |
The still strong paradigm of teacher-centered learning (teacher centered learning) causes learning to be unattractive, monotonous, and does not provide challenges for students as prospective teachers. Constructionism learning enlightens that the only tool or means available to someone to know something is the senses. A person interacts with objects and the environment by seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and feeling it. From that sensory touch someone builds his world image. Therefore Teacher Education as an educational institution that produces and prepares students to have the skills to apply learning. One effort that can be done to improve students' skills in implementing active learning is to implement strategies that include: 1) modeling, 2) engaging, 3) integrating, which is in accordance with the current learning style.
