Description Every educational institution, especially Islamic boarding schools and madrasas, must have a library. This is considering the importance of the library to be likened to the "heart of education" and has an important role in the teaching and learning process. Overall, the state of the PP Al Hasani Al Lathifi Kauman Bondowoso library has met good library standards, this can be proven through the technological advances that are used more advanced than Islamic boarding schools in general.
This is partly due to library management that uses management principles, which include planning (planning), organizing (organizing), movement (actuating), empowerment (empowering), motivation (motivating), facilities (facilitating), controlling (controlling ), and evaluation (evaluating). Planning (planning) is indicated by determining the work program and determining professional staff; organizing (organizing) is shown by dividing the tasks and functions to each library work unit; movement (actuating) is indicated by service activities in the library, including lending/circulation and administration services; empowerment (empowering) is shown by optimizing library human resources, optimizing library facilities and infrastructure, and optimizing library users/customers; motivating (motivating), shown by the way the librarian conducts routine (daily) meetings. Based on this research, it is hoped that it can be a reference in the development of Islamic boarding schools/school libraries, especially in Islamic educational institutions, both public and private. This is because not all Islamic boarding schools/school libraries can organize libraries properly. Library management with a professional management system will make the library a place where the information requirements are needed by students and teachers.
