Abstract Education is one of the most important aspects of life in shaping the character of a nation. Forward failure of a nation depends on education. The better the quality of education the better the character of a nation. Education as a process of humanizing has a very important role in printing the perfect man who excels in its various aspects that include cognitive, affective and psychomotor. With it expected to give birth out put and out come the devoted, intelligent, clever, skilled, physically and mentally healthy, broad-minded and has a personality and virtuous. In a way, more specifically, the technical term of Islamic religious education, which means the work done consciously and planned by teachers and participants to believe that there is a doctrine of the gospel then understood, internalized and then practiced or applied. Of course, a wide variety of these efforts is based on the teachings of Islam. Ahmad Tafsir conclude that the aim of Islamic education is healthy and strong physical, intelligent and clever minds and hearts devoted to Allah. Efforts to achievethese noble objectives continue to be pursued, both in the family, school and community. In this modern century later came the term science revealed religion or science and general science or the knowledge obtained, which should be well studied and is informed by science is revealed as a supporter of devotion to Allah. With this understanding dichotomy between the two terms can be resolved. Thus, from the literature it can be concluded that basically do not recognize the term Islamic education of religious knowledge and general science. Islam considers that science is only one, that everything comes from Allah. However, for the sake of education, the knowledge that one is classified into two, namely science and knowledge obtained revealed. Studies revealed, popularly called religious knowledge, while the knowledge obtained, popularly called general science. Both kinds of knowledge that should be taught on an ongoing basis in the world of education, whether education is carried out in the family, school and community. Each taught in accordance with the portion and the needs of society as a form of reintegration separation between religious knowledge and general science happening in education today, is expected to produce out-put and out come intact and excel corresponding objectives of Islamic education, given the orientation of Islamic education not only trains the heart, but also aspects of the mind and the body of learners (men). Therefore, the Islamic educational institutions should teach general sciences (knowledge obtained) in addition to the religious sciences (science revealed). Likewise, public education institutions should also prioritize the religious sciences in addition to the general sciences. Given betatapun Islam recommends to learn all the science, but Islam gave limits and setting the level, and the primacy of the individual sciences. The highest science is the science of faith, then the science of good and bad and science of morals, then science tools that includes linguistics, social sciences, natural sciences and so forth. |
