Description Evaluation in an action or process to decide value of something. The curriculum is a subsystem in education cannot be separated from the dynamics process in the society. The curriculum therefore, should be organized to prepare learners in facing the future obstacles. This article discusses the importance of curriculum evaluation in some aspects and giving the construction of understanding for all parties involved in education that the curriculum evaluation becomes reference frame of Islamic education as it is very important in the globalization era, such aspects as curriculum evaluation, and curriculum development, types of evaluation strategies, curriculum evaluation models. Therefore, this curriculum evaluation can be used as a measurement or be used as a fundamental reference by institutions, especially Islamic education.
