Description Curriculum is education program provided to students learning process. This program is intended to enable students perform in learning activities, resulting is knowledge development and their behavior change as the purpose of education. Educational institutions, therefore, have to provide students environment that give them learning opportunities. The curriculum should be highly set up to reach the educa- tional aim. The content of curriculum is not only a number of subjects, building, playing field, learning tools, school supplies, library, images, etc can be included in the curriculum. This article discusses the importance of guiding heart as the core of Islamic education curriculum development. Thus, the curri- culum development must be oriented to values preservation, students, social need, optimizing manpower and the future of science and technology development. The last is considering all of the future aspects, such as social, biological, psycho- logical and religious dimensions.
