Description  Development cooperative learning model type STAD is a model of a general nature, may be used to study the field of Islamic Education (PAI), as well as a model of the most simple and easy to implement. Learning the skills approach in the process of setting type STAD cooperative learning can transform teaching from teacher center to student centered. At the core concepts of learning model type STAD is present lessons teacher then students work in teams to ensure that all team members have mastered the lesson. The positive impact of the use of other models of cooperative learning is the emergence of motivation and self-confidence of students in the course. Psychological aspects are directly or indirectly have an impact on students' ease in receiving information. Student attendance rate is also increased because every learning activity involving students, so that students who do not attend will be very visible as well as the information will be missed. Also foster the growth of a sense of motivation and learning in Islamic Education more fun, it finally happened studying Islamic Education is not monotonous and boring
