Description Abstrak Kegiatan pertanian lahan sawah di Jawa Timur didominasi oleh usahatani padi dengan skala sempit dan dikelola secara perorangan, menyebabkan peningkatan produktivitasnya menurun dan beragam serta secara ekonomis kurang efisien sehingga daya saing hasil rendah. Penelitian dilakukan tahun 2009 secara survai,  Pengambilan sampel pada petani yang telah dibina dan tidak dibina sebagai pembanding, masing-masing sampel diambil 100 petani contoh  Data dianalisis dengan regresi metode Ordinary Least Squares. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara serempak jumlah benih yang digunakan, jumlah pupuk urea yang digunakan, jumlah pupuk phonska, jumlah tenaga kerja,  jumlah pupuk organik, luas lahan, dummy varietas unggul baru, pembinaan inovasi teknologi usahatani padi, dan dummy jajar legowo  berpengaruh siginifikan terhadap keuntungan usahatani padi. Kata kunci : faktor produksi, usahatani padi  Abstract The activities of wetland in East Java has been dominated by small scales of paddy agribusiness and individually managed. It caused  declined and fluctuated productivity and economically inefficient so that creates low in competitiveness. This research has been done in 2009 through survey. The samples were farmers who had been trained, and as comparison, there had been collected untrained farmers. They were selected 100 each. Then, the data were analyzed by Ordinary Least Squares regression model. This research  is aimed to recognize what production factors have been influenced towards paddy productivity. The result showed, seed numbers, urea fertilizing, phonska fertilizing, number of workers, organic fertilizing, land space, new superior variety (as dummy), technology innovation training, and jajar legowo (as dummy) are the factors which are significantly influenced  toward paddy agribusiness profit.
