Description Abstract
Orphans are a social phenomenon that always exists in society, both in developed and developing countries. In every region there are always orphans who need education, livelihoods, etc. Ironically, they still lack systematic and integrated assistance from the government or the environment. The definition of orphan is actually quite simple, western people often call it without father, half orphan, while Indonesians call it orphan, which is fatherless. This study focuses on the implementation of the orphanage assistance activities, the supporting and inhibiting factors of the orphanage assistance activities of the children of the Fatayat and Muslimat Sukorejo branches. The type of research that researchers will use in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The techniques used by researchers in data collection are observation, interviews and documentation. From the research carried out, the researchers found that the implementation of the orphanage activities led by the Fatayat and Muslimat Sukorejo branch children was running smoothly and was proven to have succeeded in making an inventory of the number of orphans reaching 219 orphans and collecting funds from branches and twigs and donors up to Rp. 105,060,000, - with the distribution of compensation funds of Rp. 450,000, - for each orphan and the parcel is a package of stationery.
Abstrak
Anak yatim adalah fenomena sosial yang selalu ada di masyarakat baik masyarakat maju maupun negara berkembang. Disetiap daerah selalu ada anak yatim yang membutuhkan pendidikan, penghidupan dll. Ironisnya mereka masih kurang memdapat bantuan secara sistematis dan terpadu dari pemerintah ataupun lingkunganya. Pengertian yatim sebenarnya cukup sederhana, orang barat sering menyebut without father, half orphan, sedang orang Indonesia menyebut yatim yaitu tidak berayah. Penelitian ini mengambil fokus pada pelaksanaan kegiatan santunan anak yatim, faktor pendukung dan penghambat kegiatan santunan anak yatim pimpinan anak cabang Fatayat dan Muslimat Sukorejo. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan peneliti menemukan pelaksanaan kegiatan santunan anak yatim pimpinan anak cabang Fatayat dan Muslimat Sukorejo berjalan lancar dan sukses terbukti telah berhasil menginventarisir jumlah anak yatim mencapai jumlah 219 anak yatim dan mengumpulkan dana dari ranting dan anak ranting serta donatur hingga mencapai Rp. 105.060.000,- dengan penyaluran dana santunan sebesar Rp. 450.000,- pada setiap anak yatim dan bingkisan berupa satu paket alat tulis
