proof in criminal case examination is crucial to find the material truth of a case being examined. In the event that the judge has not yet reached his conviction, the law provides a solution by including an indication as one of the five pieces of evidence that is legally used in criminal evidence. On the other hand, in the Islamic criminal law system there is a means of evidence called qarinah which many experts in Islamic criminal law combine with guidance. Theoretically, this paper intends to examine the equivalence of the two theories regarding the two evidence items from these two different legal systems.
