Description E-learning-based education is the only solution at this time, due to a new policy stating to reduce activities outside the home, because of the COVID-19 virus effect. The purpose of this study is to reveal the mechanism for evaluating student learning outcomes based on E-learning in Islamic education subject at SMA Negeri 5 Makassar. This study uses a qualitative method described in the form of a narrative. Sources of data is obtained online, that is interviews, documentations and observations, then the data were analyzed using triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the e-learning media used by PAI teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Makassar are Zoom, Meet, Classroom, WhatsApp, Microsoft 365, and Quizizz. The evaluation of learning outcomes carried out by PAI teachers is through an assessment of three domains, those are: 1) cognitive assessment; 2) affective assessment; and 3) psychomotor assessment.
