Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman konsep awal kemampuan memahami hubungan antara makan dan dimakan yang membuat siswa bingung saat menyelesaikan soal terkait rantai makanan. Siswa juga belum dilibatkan secara maksimal dalam pembelajaran sehingga belajar yang didapat tidak maksimal.penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembsngsn (R&D). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media PARAKAN (papan rantai makanan) dan keefektifan media PARAKAN (papan rantai makanan) untuk meningkatkan hasi belajar IPA siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Huda Ngasem. Dalam penelitian ini, instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket, observasi dan tes. Dari hasil media pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan telah diuji kelayakan produk oleh ahli materi dan media. Berdasarkan hasil validasi materi menunjukkan media PARAKAN memiliki tingkat kelayakan 86,66% yang termasuk dalam kualifikasi “sangat layak”. Hasil validasi media menunjukkan media PARAKAN memiliki tingkat kelayakan 90% yang termasuk dalam kualifikasi “sangat layak”. Hasil uji coba skala kecil dicoba kepada 5 siswa dengan mendapatkan presentase siswa 79% serta hasil uji coba skala lagi dicoba kepada 10 siswa dengan mendapatkan persentase 84, 5%. Sehingga media PARAKAN dinyatakan sangat diperlukan serta sangat berkontribusi selaku penunjang pendidikan.
This research was motivated by the lack of understanding of the initial concept of the ability to understand the relationship between eating and being eaten which made students confused when solving problems related to the food chain. Students also have not been maximally involved in learning so that the learning obtained is not optimal. This research is a development research (R&D). This study aims to determine the development of PARAKAN media (food chain board) and the effectiveness of PARAKAN media (food chain board) to improve science learning outcomes for fifth grade students of MI Miftahul Huda Ngasem. In this study, the instruments used were in the form of questionnaires, observations and tests. From the results of the learning media that have been developed, the product feasibility has been tested by material and media experts. Based on the results of material validation, it shows that PARAKAN media has a feasibility level of 86.66% which is included in the "very feasible" qualification. The results of media validation show that PARAKAN media has a 90% feasibility level which is included in the "very feasible" qualification. The results of the small-scale trial were carried out on 5 students by obtaining a student percentage of 79% and the results of the medium-scale trial carried out to 10 students by obtaining a percentage of 84.5%. So that the PARAKAN media is stated to be very needed and really contributes as a support for learning.. |
