Description Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya disiplin siswa MI Nur Ilahi Tangkilsari Tajinan Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik disiplin siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam membentuk karakteristik disiplin siswa, dan (3) mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat kedisiplinan siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan pencatatan. Menganalisis data dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ciri-ciri kedisiplinan siswa meliputi siswa yang menaati peraturan sekolah dan siswa yang tidak menaati/melanggar peraturan sekolah. (2) Peran guru dalam membentuk karakter kedisiplinan siswa meliputi guru sebagai guru, pendidik, evaluator, dan panutan bagi siswa. (3) Faktor pendukung yang membentuk karakter kedisiplinan siswa antara lain dukungan rencana kegiatan sekolah dan kerjasama yang baik dari seluruh warga sekolah. Faktor penghambat karakteristik disiplin siswa antara lain pengawasan guru yang terbatas terhadap siswa, pengaruh sosial teman, dan penggunaan teknologi yang tidak tepat.
This research is motivated by the low discipline of students at MI Nur Ilahi Tangkilsari Tajinan Malang. The aims of this study were to: (1) describe the characteristics of student discipline, (2) describe the role of the teacher in shaping the characteristics of student discipline, and (3) describe the factors supporting and inhibiting student discipline. The method in this study used qualitative methods and descriptive qualitative research, and the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and recording. Analyze data by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The characteristics of student discipline include students who obey school rules and students who do not obey/violate school rules. (2) The role of the teacher in shaping the character of students' discipline includes the teacher as a teacher, educator, evaluator, and role model for students. (3) Supporting factors that shape the character of student discipline include support for school activity plans and good cooperation from all school members. The inhibiting factors for the characteristics of student discipline include limited teacher supervision of students, social influence of friends, and inappropriate use of technology.
