This study aims to improve students' understanding of thematic subjects Theme 8 Sub-theme 1 learning 2 Subjects the Water Cycle through the application of themethod Contextual Teaching and Learning. Understanding is how a person maintains, differentiates, suspects, explains, expands, concludes, generalizes, exemplifies, rewrites, and estimates. Understanding can be seen and measured by seeing the extent to which students can explain an event or material using their own language. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is integrated simultaneously, with a Quantitative Approach approach. This type of research used in this research is a critical study. The results showed that through the application of themethod was Contextual Teaching and Learning proven to increase students' understanding. In the first cycle the learning outcomes of students reached an average of 81.6%, and the percentage of completeness was 83.3%. In the second cycle the learning outcomes of students reached an average of 88.63%, the percentage of completeness was 88.8%.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran tematik Tema 8 Subtema 1 pembelajaran 2 Pokok Bahasan Siklus Air melalui penerapan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning. Pemahaman adalah bagaimana seseorang mempertahankan, membedakan, menduga, menerangkan, memperluas, menyimpulkan, menggeneralisasikan, memberikan contoh, menuliskan kembali, dan memperkirakan. Pemahaman dapat dilihat dan diukur dengan cara melihat sejauh mana siswa dapat menjelaskan suatu kejadian ataupun materi dengan menggunakan bahasa sendiri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bersifat simultan terintegratif, dengan pendekatan Quantitative Approach (Pendekatan Kuantitatif). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Pada siklus I hasil belajar peserta didik rata-rata mencapai 81,6 %, dan presentase ketuntasan 83,3 %. Pada siklus II hasil belajar peserta didik rata-rata mencapai 88,63%, presentase ketuntasan 88,8 %. |
