Description Research in the background with the use of innovative methods that are still lacking by the teacher, especially social studies learning the theme of the Beautiful Diversity in My Country grade IV. Therefore, this study applies a mind mapping method based on local wisdom that has the objective to find out the student learning outcomes in class IV. This type of classroom action research (CAR) is used in research for 2 cycles. The study was conducted at Jombatan IV SDN Jombang with 35 research subjects in class IV Year 2018/2019. Data collection was carried out with a short fill test technique and a description that included aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills, which were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive. The results of the study note that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students, the first cycle was 42.85% which was in incomplete criteria while the second cycle was 85.71% in the completion criteria because it had exceeded the classical completeness value of ≥ 80%. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of mind mapping methods based on local wisdom can improve the quality of social studies learning the theme of Beautiful Diversity in the State of Grade IV SDN Jombatan IV Jombang.

Abstrak: Penelitian di latar belakangi dengan penggunaan metode inovatif yang masih kurang oleh guru terutama pembelajaran IPS tema Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku kelas IV. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menerapkan metode mind mapping berbasis kearifan lokal yang mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV. Jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang digunakan dalam penelitian selama 2 siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Jombatan IV Jombang dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 35 siswa kelas IV Tahun 2018/2019. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes isian singkat dan uraian yang mencakup aspek pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan, yang selanjutnya di analisis menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ada peningkatan hasil pembelajaran IPS siswa kelas IV, siklus I yaitu 42,85% berada di kriteria tidak tuntas sedangkan siklus II yaitu 85,71% berada di kriteria tuntas karena sudah melebihi nilai ketuntasan klasikal yakni ≥ 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode mind mapping berbasis kearifan lokal dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS tema Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku kelas IV SDN Jombatan IV Jombang.
