Description ABSTRACTThis research was conducted with the purpose to know the difference ofthe content of market information, the speed of market reaction and the accuracyof market reaction before and after the announcement event of dividend increase.This research was conducted on all companies which registered in IndonesiaStock Exchange (BEI) on period 2016-2017. The research’s sample in thisresearch used purposive sampling method. The count of sample in this researchwas 37 companies. The data were analyzed by using a t-test (paired sample ttest).The result of this research showed that there was no difference at variableof the content of market information before and after the announcement event ofdividend increase. At the speed variable of market reaction also indicate therewas no difference of before and after the announcement event of dividendincrease. However, at the accuracy variable of market reaction there was adifference of before and after the announcement event of dividend increase.Key words : The content of market information, The speed of market reaction,The accuracy of market reaction, The announcement event ofdividend increase.
