Description ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of growth, liquidity,and profitability on dividend payout ratio. The population in this study is LQ45company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2015. Techniques insampling in this study using purposive sampling and obtained 21 companysamples used as criteria company LQ45 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchangeperiod 2014-2016. Sources of data from this study came from Indonesia StockExchange (IDX), www.idx.co.id. The method of analysis used in this study is theclassical assumption test, and hypothesis test and multiple linear regression.The results of this study indicate that: (1) Based on simultaneous test or Ftest known that the variable growth, liquidity, and profitability have a significantpositive effect on the dividend payout ratio. (2) Variable growth, liquidity, andprofitability are 36.1% influenced by dividend payout ratio of LQ45 companylisted on BEI and 63.9% are explained by other variables not included in thisresearch model. (3) Partially, growth variable has a significant negative effect ondividend payout ratio; while variable of liquidity and profitability have asignificant positive effect to dividend payout ratio.Keywords: growth, liquidity, profitability, and dividend payout ratio
