Description ABSTRACTThis research is a direct study of several students in Malang. The main objective of this research is to find out the correlation between career motivation and degree motivation on one's motivation to take the CPA exam. These effects will be explained individually or partially. The CPA exam is one way for someone who holds an accountant to become a professional.The target population used in this study were students of the faculty of economics and business 2017 in Malang. Because the sample must meet some conditions set by the researcher, this study uses purposive sampling technique. Data mining is done by distributing questionnaires to students who meet the requirements. Respondents' answers from questionnaires were fully computationally using SPSS v25.Several methods are used to convince the audience that the data being processed is valid research result data by conducting several tests. Test methods used include test instruments, normality test, classic assumption test, up to hypothesis testing. The results obtained in this study are globally, career motivation and degree motivation have a significant or positive influence on a person's willingness to take the CPA exam. This has an effect especially on someone who has a career in accounting who wants to become a professional.Keywords : Career Motivation, CPA Exam, Motivation of Degree, Interest.
