Description ABSTRACTThis study aims to see the effect of the leverage level and profitability of a business entity on the dividend policy set by the company. The population in this research is all real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017, which are 61 companies. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with several criteria so that the sample found is 19 companies. Analysis was carried out using multiple regression models and data testing techniques using descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, hypothesis test. The results showed that the leverage measured using the Long term debt to equity ratio had a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy. Profitability measured using Basic Earning Power has a positive and not significant effect on dividend policy.Keywords : Leverage, Profitability, Long term Debt to Equity Ratio, Basic Earning Power, Dividend Policy.
