Description ABSTRACT The current phenomenon of work motivation and work environment becomes the main topic in the world of work because it is able to contribute greatly to the performance of employees both individuals, groups in doing the work. The research was conducted at the Department of Industry and Trade of Malang Regency. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance partially or simultaneously. The variable used is work motivation and work environment as independent variable, employee performance as dependent variable. Samples used are employees of the Department of Trade and Industry of Malang Regency as many as 60 respondents using survey method. Data collection method used is questionnaire (questionnaire). The analysis used included instrument test, classical assumption test, normality test, multiple regression linear test, hypothesis test and coefficient of determination test using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 14.0 for windows software The result of the research shows that the work motivation has significant influence to the performance of employees of the Industry and Trade Office of Malang Regency, the work environment has a significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Industry and Trade Office of Malang Regency, the work motivation and work environment together affect the performance of the employees of the Industry and Trade Office of Malang Regency.Keywords: Work motivation, Work environment, employee performance
