Description ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze risk tolerance, asset allocation and factors that influence investment interest partially in beginner investors of students of Faculty of Economics and Business, UNISMA.  The population of this study was the Faculty of Economics and Business UNISMA, while the samples were taken of management student at the Faculty of Economics and UNISMA Business which is taking or has taken money market courses and capital markets as well as portfolio theory. The data were collected through deployment of questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used SPSS version 14. Technique sampling used purposive sampling. Technique of testing the data used validity test, test reliability, classic assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis, and testing research hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that partially risk tolerance, investment knowledge and investment motivation have a significant positive effect on investment interest in beginner investors while asset allocation is not significantly influence on investment interest in beginner investors.
