Description Introduction: The increase of oxidative stress in high fat diet will lead to the increased level of aspartat aminotransferase (AST) dan alanin aminotransferase (ALT). A formula consists of bastard cedar, orange jessamine, mulberry leaves and purple ginger rhizome; so called JKMB is potential to function as an antihyperlipidemia and an antioxidant. This study was to identify the effect of JKMB water extract to decrease AST and ALT levels in Wistar rats induced by modified high fat diet (DTLM).Methods: This in vivo study was a control group post test only design. There were five groups: negative control (KN), positive control (KP), and treatment groups receiving three different aqueous extract of JKMB. D1 group was provided 189 mg/200 g BW, D2 (378 mg) and D3 (756 mg). After 12 weeks of treatment, the AST and ALT levels were measured using kinetic spectrophotometer analysis.Results: The serum level of AST was 97.00 ± 20.59 U/L (KN); 76.80 ± 27.51 U/L (KP); 97.50 ± 30.47 U/L (KD1); 182.75 ± 161.92 U/L (KD2); and 91.60 ± 18.05 U/L, respectively. Furthermore, the ALT serum level was 61.60 ± 12.12 U/L (KN); 57.40 ± 24.01 U/L (KP); 58.50 ± 13.18 U/L KD1; 54.50 ± 16.54 U/L KD2; and 50.00 ± 10.12 U/L KD3, respectively.Conclusion: The administration of JKMB aqueous extract causes no significant effect on rat’s serum level of AST and ALT
