Description Introduction: The drug abuse in Indonesia is a longstanding problem and its prevalence continues to increase. Students are early adolescents who start trying with new things that has the potential using drug abuse. One of the prevention method is by using psycoeducation to change the student attitude. Therefore, research is needed on the effects of psychoeducation on the attitude component to prevent drug abuse.Method: Post-Test Only Control Group Design.Experiment and control group contains 37 student from Junior High School. Independent t –test used to compare post tets result of both group with level of signification p<0,05Result: Psychoeduaction increase knowledge aspect in Junior High School student on experiment group (65,29 ±19,37)compared with control (47,89 ±19,37) (p=0,003). Psychoeduaction increase emotional aspect in Salahudin High School student on experiment group (87,02±8,10) compared with control (46,56±12,67) (p=0,005).Psychoeduaction increase behavior aspect in Junior High School student on experiment group (86,35±7,15) compared with control (49,08±19,12) (p=0,001).Conclusion: Psychoeduaction affect in knowledge, emotional, and behaviour Junior High School Student to prevent drug abuse.Keywords: Psychoeducation, Prevention, Drug Abuse, Junior High School Student
