Description Introduction: One of the causes of cadmium accumulation in the body is the use of pesticides and an unhealthy lifestyle. The presence of cadmium in the human body will cause cardiovascular disease. This study aims to determine the effect of pesticide exposure and patterns of farmers habits on blood pressure and pulse frequency.Method: This study used an observational analytic descriptive method with Cross-Sectional type research design. This study used 47 human respondents with sample selection using purposive sampling technique. Respondents were male farmers who were still actively spraying pesticides. Data collection using questionnaires and blood pressure checks and pulse frequency. Results: Data obtained were carried out statistical tests using factorial ANOVA. The interaction of the effects of pesticide exposure and patterns of eating habits on blood pressure showed insignificant results (p> 0.05) while at the pulse frequency the results were significant (p <0.05). The lowest average pulse rate in P2K2 treatment was significantly different from P2K1 treatment. The interaction effect of exposure to pesticides and patterns of food hygiene habits on blood pressure and pulse frequency showed no significant results (p> 0.05). The interaction of the effects of pesticide exposure and the pattern of smoking habits on blood pressure showed insignificant results (p> 0.05), while the frequency of pulses obtained significant results (p <0.05). The lowest average pulse rate in P2M1 treatment was significantly different from the P1M3 and P2M2 treatments. Conclusion: Exposure to pesticides and habit patterns have no effect on increasing blood pressure. Pesticide exposure, patterns of eating habits, and patterns of smoking habits influence the decrease in pulse frequency, while food hygiene does not affect the decrease in pulse frequency. Keywords: Cadmium, Pesticides, Habit Patterns, Hypertension, Pulse Frequency
