Description Background: Medical students University of Islam Malang in second, third, and fourth batch there are range of Grade Points. It is proven by the second batch students that have category of low is 20,3% grade points, medium  57,8%, and high 21,9%. Factors that affect the level of grade points are motivation and different learning strategy of students. This study aims to evaluate the correlation between motivation and learning strategy with the average of grade points.Method: Descriptive analitic study with cross sectional approach using all of the population respondents from second, third and fourth years student in Faculty of Medicine, University of Islam Malang. Primary data  collected using Motivationl Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) and Grade Points Average was obtained from Study Results Card. Data analyzed using Pearson correlation test and multiple linear regression with a significance level of α=0,05.Results: Univariate analysis showed that most of the students had medium category of learning motivation with the highest percentage in second batch (n = 50; 78.1%) and the highest medium category of learning strategy in third batch (n = 48; 81.4%). The result of the bivariate analysis presented that there was correlation between motivation (p=0,000; r=0.434) and learning strategy (p=0,000; r=0.445) with Grade Points. The most influential factors that impact in Grade Points was the learning strategy (t=2.454).Conclusion: Motivation and learning strategy were correllate with Grade Points while the most influential factor was learning strategy.Keywords : Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ), Motivation, Strategy, Grade Points
