Description Introduction : Leprosy (Morbus Hansen) occurs because of infection by Mycobacterium leprae whom attacked skin and nerve so will make defective. In Situbondo and Banyuwangi have a high incidence and prevalence of leprosy cases. Regional economic status of that city can be associated with a high incidence and prevalence of leprosyMethod : Cross sectional study with secondary data acquired from health profile of Situbondo and Banyuwangi. Sample in this research were the leprosy patient at 2012 – 2016 in Situbondo and Banyuwangi regency that taken by purposive sampling method.Results : Economic status (PAD) of Situbondo regency has significant differenciation with economic status of Banyuwangi regency (p= 0,036). PAD/ total population in Situbondo regency has no significant differenciation with Banyuwangi regency (p=0,598). Incidence and prevalence of PB and MB leprosy in Situbondo and Banyuwangi regency have significant differenciation (p<0,05). Regional economic status can be associated with PB leprosy incidence in Situbondo and MB leprosy prevalence in Banyuwangi regency (p<0,05).Conclusion : There is defferenciation PAD in Situbondo and Banyuwangi regency. There is defferenciation incidence and prevalence of PB and MB leprosy in Situbondo and Banyuwangi regency. Regional economic status can be associated with prevalence of MB leprosy in Situbondo and insidence of PB leprosy in Banyuwangi regency. Regional economic status/ total population can be associated with prevalence of MB leprosy in Situbondo and insidence of PB leprosy in Banyuwangi regency.Keywords: Leprosy, Regional Economic Status, Incidence, Prevalence
