Description The study entitled the application of the tahqiq method in learning to read and write al-Qur'an at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah al-Qur'an Singosari discussed three problem formulations, namely How the students' reading and writing skills of the Qur'an at MI Al-Qur'an Singosari, How to apply the Tahqiq method in learning to read and write the Qur'an at MI Al-Qur'an Singosari, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in learning to read and write the Qur'an at MI Al-Qur'an Singosari.The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of case study research. Presence the researcher's status as a researcher is known by the subject or informant. And the supporting instruments used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the first study, in the application of the tahqiq method, were able to improve the reading and writing of the Qur'an. Second, imitating every verse read by the teacher, depositing each reading and writing hijaiyah letters. Third, the supporters are from parents, students, and facilities, while the obstacles are the background of the parents and the character of the students. Kata kunci: tahqiq, read, write
