Description AbstrakGenerasi penerus bangsa saat ini mengalami degradasi moral yang terjadi di tengah masyarakat khususnya pada remaja. Dari beberapa fenomena yang terjadi, lembaga pendidikan pondok pesantren Roudlotul Nur Ihsan Kecamatan Poncokusumo Kabupaten Malang merupakan lembaga yang konsisten dalam mengatasi persoalan penurunan moral khusunya dalam pembentukan karakter pada santri Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di pondok pesantren Al Mubarok Roudlotul Nur Ihsan adalah  nilai iman dan taqwa sebagai pondasi dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter yang lain. Selain itu terdapat karakter hormat kepada orang tua maupun guru, karakter tolong menolong (ta’awun), karakter cinta akan ilmu (tafaaquh fiddiin), karakter mengamalkan ilmu, karakter menyebarkan ilmu (nasyrul ilmi), karkater cinta kebersihan (an-nadzofah), dan karakter kemandirian. Pendidikan karakter dilaksanakan melalui proses pengajian antara kyai dan santri, ustad dan santri dan keseharian kultur/budaya dalam pesantren. Model pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan meliputi tiga tahapan. Tahapan strategi meliputi; mewujudkan visi dan misi serta tujuan pondok pesantren dalam membentuk karakter santri melalui budaya kulturisasi dalam pesantren yang didasari nilai-nilai karakter dalam islam. Tahapan metode dilaksanakan melalui; metode pembiasaan, dan metode keteladanan. Tahapan evaluasi dilaksanakan mulai dari penyeleksian dalam menerima santri baru, diagnostik (spontanitas), penempatan santri dalam hal minat dan bakat, ujian formati dan sumatif yang dilaksanakan oleh seluruh anggota pondok pesantren.Kata kunci: Model pendidikan, karakter, santri, pondok pesantren AbstractThe next generation of the nation is currently experiencing moral degradation in society, especially teenagers. From several phenomena that occur, the Roudlotul Nur Ihsan Islamic boarding school education institution, Poncokusumo District, Malang Regency is an institution that is consistent in overcoming the problem of moral decline, especially in character building for students. and taqwa as the foundation in planting other character values. In addition there are characters of respect for parents and teachers, characters of help to help (ta'awun), characters of love for knowledge (tafaaquh fiddiin), characters of practicing knowledge, characters of spreading knowledge (nasyrul ilmi), characters of love for cleanliness (an-nadzofah), and a character of independence. Character education is carried out through the recitation process between kyai and santri, ustad and santri and daily culture / culture in the pesantren. The character education model that is applied includes three stages. The strategy stages include; realizing the vision and mission as well as the objectives of the Islamic boarding school in shaping the character of the students through a culture of culture in the pesantren which is based on the values of character in Islam The method is carried out through stages; habituation method, and exemplary method. The evaluation stages are carried out starting from selection in accepting new students, diagnostics (spontaneity), placement of students in terms of interests and talents, formal and summative examinations carried out by all members of the boarding school.Keywords: Education model, character, islamic student, islamic boarding
