Description In the current era, technological developments have helped people to facilitate work with the discovery and new development in the field of technology.  The problem that arises in the process of making ice spin is business people still using manual or human labor systems which is not effective and can take a long time for the ice production. Therefore, the authors plan "modification of rotary ice machine" which serves to accelerate the production of rotary ice with a relatively short time and the results of rapid freezing evenly due to modifications namely by adding a stirrer to the rotary ice machine, cutting machine for animal feed fulfils an electric motor as a source of driving force. the steps of the rotary ice machine works is, the electric motor is turned on, then the rotation of the motor will rotate the transmission belt pulley which will be reducer in the gearbox and the rotation of the gearbox is continued on the rotating shaft of the swivel ice dough tube, in the production process rotating while the stirrer remains silent. The stirrer that remains stationary serves as a stirrer to flatten the frozen dough on the tube wall due to the tube rolling. From the results of analysis and calculation of the design of the rotating ice machine modifications with capacity of 14 liters, the specification of each component is obtained on the machine, like the electric motor used is 0.25 HP with speed motor speed of 1400 rpm. Speed reducer with a ratio of 1:20 ratio that produces a rotation of 70 Rpm, the number of tubes is 2, namely the inner tube and outer tube, the type of mixer is a paddle type mixer, for shaft material with a diameter of S35C 20 mm. For belts use belt V type A no.34 with a length of 864 mm.
