Description Abstrak          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu pencelupan proses electroplating terhadap pelapisan baja S45C dengan waktu pencelupan yang divariasikan 30, 60, dan 90 menit menggunakan tegangan 6 Volt, kuat arus 22 A, dan jarak anoda katoda dengan panjang 25cm. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai rata - rata ketebalan dengan variasi waktu 30 menit menghasilkan ketebalan 6,76 µm. Nilai rata - rata ketebalan selanjutnya dengan variasi waktu 60 menit menghasilkan ketebalan 11,14 µm. Nilai rata-rata ketebalan terakhir dengan variasi waktu 90 menit menghasilkan ketebalan 11,57 µm. Artinnya,semakin banyak waktu yang digunakkan dalam proses pencelupan, semakin tinggi nilai ketebalan baja.Kata Kunci: Electroplating, waktu pencelupan, ketebalan, baja S45C AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the process immersion time electroplating on S45C steel coating with varying immersion times of 30, 60, and 90 minutes using a voltage of 6 Volts, a current of 22 A, and an anode cathode distance of 25cm. The results of this study indicate that the average thickness with a time variation of 30 minutes produces a thickness of 6.76 µm. The next average thickness value with a time variation of 60 minutes resulted in a thickness of 11.14 µm. The last average thickness value with a time variation of 90 minutes resulted in a thickness of 11.57 µm. This means that the longer the immersion time, the thickness value will increase.Key words: Electroplating, immersion time, thickness, S45C steel
