Description Basically, the basic task of developing a child is to develop a correct understanding of how the world works. In other words, the main task of a child in his development is to learn the "rules of the game" in all aspects of the world. children must also learn to understand the rules in social relations, so that there are laws and sanctions that govern the behavior of community members in community life.If a nation wants to survive, then the nation must have rules that determine what is wrong and what is right, what is permissible and what is not done, what is fair and what is not fair, what is appropriate and inappropriate . Therefore, there needs to be ethics in speech, rules in traffic, and other social rules. If not, this life will be "chaotic" because everyone may apply according to their own desires without having to care for others. Finally, among others, they tackle each other, hurt each other, even kill each other, so that the nation is destroyed.Thus developing the nation's next generation with good character is the responsibility of all parties. Of course this is not easy, therefore awareness of all parties is needed that character education is very important homework to be done immediately. Moreover, seeing the condition of the nation's character today is of concern and the fact that humans do not naturally (spontaneously) grow into human beings with good character. The result of this study is that family education is very important by prioritizing education that is Islamic in nature and refers to good moral behavior so that this nation will have a strong and persistent mentality and therefore make this nation progress and develop.
