Description First of all, this article discusses, the formation of Islamic leadership character in students through Intra-school student organizations (OSIS) in MTs Negeri Batu. Second, this form of formation of student character through intra-school student organizations. These three problems arise as a result of the behavior of students who lack confidence and responsibility as the student council administrator. This can be shown when the student council is very needed to develop leadership potential in students and the development of madrasas. With the Islamic leadership character, students can train themselves to be leaders who are firm, skilled, responsible and trustworthy. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of phenomenological research in which researchers gather data through the phenomena that are around. Therefore, this research starts from the experience of researchers in the field based on the theories and ideas of experts. The conclusion from this study shows that this historical culture will indirectly build the character of student leadership when students can be responsible for carrying out tasks as student council administrators.
