Description The existence of a reciting foundation is highly influenced by kid’s interest on the importance of reciting Qur’an in this developed era. Hence, the foundation or the reciting places should be innovative in accordance with the era development. It includes the teaching methods, reciting facilities and reciting programs. The research aims to find out how much is the interest in reciting Qur’an between children in a village and those in a city, particularly in Yayasan Baitul Muttaqin, Tlogoagung Village, Kedungadem Sub-district, Bojonegoro Regency and in Ikhya’ Ulu Mudin at Jalan Argopuro, Lawang Sub-district, Malang Regency. The research type is quantitative research of comparative study. Type of research used is a research method and comparative study. The research method is used to find out a comparison of a problem in two group samples. Based on data analysis conclusion and research discussion H0: X=Y. It means that there is no significant difference in the interest in reciting Qur’an between children in Tlogoagung Village, Kedungadem Sub-district, Bojonegoro Regency and those in the city at Jalan Argopuro, Lawang Sub-district, Malang Regency.
