Description This study aims to determine the problems in the SKI teacher learning strategy in shaping religious character, the focus of study is 1) the SKI learning process, 2) the SKI learning strategy and 3) supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning strategy. The approach used is a qualitative approach, and the type of research is a case study. Data collection is done by participatory observation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses 3 stages from Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data display and verification. Checking the validity of the data by extending the time of observation, increasing perseverance, triangulation and checking of colleagues. The results of this study, 1) SKI learning at Singosari MTs Almaarif 01 is in accordance with the specific principles in managing learning with learning strategies that are able to arouse students' enthusiasm, 2) learning strategies used are teacher-centered expository strategies using lecture methods and asking questions answer, and 3) supporting factors in the learning strategy, namely teachers who are experienced and competent in their field, madrasa programs that support teacher competencies and madrasa programs that support the formation of religious character. The inhibiting factor is the lack of student interest in learning SKI.
