Description Al-Qur'an learning at MTs Nurul Iman has only been running for 3 years, seeing students lack of enthusiasm for learning the Qur'an the teacher must do various ways to encourage students 'enthusiasm.The selection of the right method will affect students' learning process. the Al-Qur'an learning class does not have to be in accordance with their respective classes, but is seen from the abilities of each student. if it is felt that grade VII students have been able to read correctly and know the laws of reading the Qur'an, it can be made into one with classes VIII and IX. Capturing the above problems, the purpose of this study is to describe: 1) What is the method of learning Tartila at MTs Nurul Iman Sindami Lami Besuk Probolinggo students, 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for applying Tartila learning methods for students at MTs Nurul Iman Sindet lami Besuk Probolinggo. The method used is a qualitative method. For data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study 1) the application of the tartila method at MTs Nurul Iman went well, students, students were able to receive and respond well to learning Al-Qur'an using the tartila method, 2) supporting factors for the application of this method namely the existence of the Qur'an which contains laws and reading letters. And the existence of examiners from outside the school so students are more diligent in learning. The inhibiting factor of students is the lack of awareness to learn, so the teacher must be extra in the learning process. Lack of facilities and infrastructure due to the establishment of new schools. Keywords: implementation, al-qur'an learning, tartila method
