Description In achieving educational goals often there are obstacles in the process, such as learning difficulties experienced by students in school. Such as learning difficulties in understanding the material and in terms of lessons explained by the teacher in class. Difficulty is a general condition characterized by obstacles or obstacles in a particular activity in achieving its goals. learning difficulties is a behavior where the behavior is characterized by symptoms that appear from students. These symptoms are both in terms of understanding the subject matter (inteletual), affective, and psychomotor, both during the learning process or learning outcomes. Learning difficulties also occur in PAI subjects, therefore the teacher's strategy in overcoming student learning difficulties in PAI subjects is very much needed. The purpose of this study is to: 1. Describe what are the difficulties experienced by students in grade VII at Bahrul Maghfiroh Middle School Malang. 2. Describe the PAI teacher's strategy in overcoming the learning difficulties of Grade VII students of Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang Middle School. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive approach. Data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The author acts as an observer in observation. As for the analysis of data from a lot of data collected from the field such as interviews and documentation, the authors group and organize so that they can answer the problem formulation formulated by researchers. In this study, researchers conducted data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and verification (drawing conclusions). The results of this study indicate that 1. Learning difficulties experienced by VII graders are difficulties in reading and writing and understanding material. 2. The strategies taken by teachers to overcome learning difficulties are inquiry strategies and expository strategies and the application of learning methods that are varied.
