Description This research aims to describe the early literacy programs in NU Bululawang Junior High School, in addition, the study also explained the interconnectedness of early literacy programs to students ' religious characters. The approach and type of research used are qualitative descriptive. The results showed that: first, the initial literacy program of the lessons implemented by learners is to read Juz Amma, Do'a early lessons, and Sholawat Thobibi Qolbi. The literacy Program has individual rules evidenced by attendance and special journals. Secondly, the reading in the literacy program regularly read by learners is able to form a pattern of religious habits. As proof students routinely read the prayers before and after carrying out daily activities. Kata Kunci: Karakter, Religius, Literasi
