The successful achievement of educational goals is pursued through various educational programs and innovations that must be developed. One of the educations related to morals is moral education, namely education that provides teaching about a person's positive actions or behavior in his life in society, so that this education has the main position and is prioritized to obtain. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of Islamic religious education in sahaping morality, which is how the planning of Islamic religious education in shaping morality in SMP Negeri 2 Lawang, how the process of implementing Islamic religious education in shaping morality at SMP Negeri 2 Lawang, and how Islamic religious education model in shaping morality in SMP Negeri 2 Lawang. The approach in this research is qualitative research with descriptive research type. The research data were collected using documentation, observation and interview techniques. While the data analysis technique consist of collecting data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. As for checking the validaty of the data with peer discussions, triangulation of sources, and extension of participation. This study obtained the results that Islamic Religious Education teachers in planning Islamic Religious Education in shaping this morality that the name of morality comes from habituation can be brought from home to school. Meanwhile, in the process of implementing Islamic Religious Education teachers in forming morals that the implementation run smoothly, orderly and all students carry out duha prayers. In the Islamic Religious Education model in forming morality here, it uses the habituation method and the exemplary method. Planning for Islamic religious education is carried out by formulating goals and designing the types of activities to be carried out. The process of implementing Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP Negeri 2 Lawang went smoothly and strictly complied with applicable regulations. The learning model of Islamic Religious Education in shaping morality describes a systematic and planned procedure in organizing the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally. Suggestions related to the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in forming a better morality in the future, namely to continue to apply to students that good morals are very liked by Allah SWT and other humans.
