Description This study aims to determine the effect of implementing cooperative learning models mind mapping  type on student achievement in PAI lessons at SMAN 5 Malang. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and interviews. while for data collection using observation, documents, questionnaires and interviews. The sample consists of all classes X-D and X-H. After collecting data, researchers analyzed the data with scoring, so each question was given a score to find out the percentage of the answer. validity test, testing the validity is used to measure a questionnaire. Then the reliability test is used to determine whether the questionnaire is reliable and reliable. Reliability test in this study used alpha crombach formula and obtained a value of 0.858. While for simple linear regression analysis obtained based on significant values from the coefficient table and obtained a significant value of 0.174> 0.05 so that it can be concluded that the variable X does not affect the variable Y.
