Description Character education is the process of planting character and its growth in living life. Character education can be formed through programmed habituation activities which are expected to foster positive values, including religious character. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ahmad Yani Jabung Malang applies dhuha prayer as a habituation program in the formation of students' religious character. This study aims to answer several problem formulations, including: 1) describing the habituation of students' dhuha prayer, 2) how the formation of students' religious character, and 3) how the habituation of dhuha prayer in forming students' religious character. This research is a type of qualitative research to produce data in the form of written or spoken words from data sources. Researchers are present directly to observe and collect data either through interviews, observations, and documentation. Then describe the data using a descriptive approach. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the habit of praying dhuha is done regularly and on a scheduled basis. Absenteeism and sanctions are also applied in its implementation. The habit of praying dhuha forms the religious character of students such as good behavior, discipline, istiqomah, calm, enthusiasm for learning, concentration in learning and obedient worship.
