Description ABSTRACTIn this journal, the author raises the issue of juvenile delinquency as a crime. The choice of theme is motivated by the many forms of crimes committed by teenagers. This has become a problem for the government to reduce the number of crimes caused by teenagers. The current legislation in Indonesia has regulated the criminal punishment of children. This paper raises the problem formulation of what factors are the causes of juvenile delinquency in the school education environment and how to solve the problem of juvenile delinquency that occurs in the school education environment. This research is an empirical juridical law research using a statutory approach, a conceptual approach and a case approach. The collection of legal materials through the literature study method, with primary and secondary legal materials. The results of this study indicate that the juvenile delinquency factor is mostly due to conditions or family background factors, social inequality. The role of the school is the right solution in an effort to overcome juvenile delinquency as a crime that can occur within the scope of the school.ABSTRAKPada jurnal ini, penulis mengangkat permasalan kenakalan remaja sebagai tindak kejahatan. Pilihan tema tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya bentuk-bentuk kejahatan yang dilakukan kalangan remaja. Hal itu menjadi suatu problematikan tehadap pemerintah guna menekan angka kejahatan yang disebabkan oleh kalangan remaja . Perundang-undangan di Indonesia saat ini telah mengatur pemidanaan pidana anak. karya tulis ini mengangkat rumusan masalah faktor apa yang menjadi penyebab kenakalan remaja di lingkungan pendidikan sekolah dan bagaimana solusi mengatasi kenakalan remaja yang terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penilitian hukum yuridis empiris dengan menggunakan pendekatan perundang-undangan, pendekatan konseptual dan pendekatan kasus. Pengumpulan bahan hukum melalui metode studi literatur, dengan bahan hukum primer maupun sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, faktor kenakalan remaja lebih banyak disebabkan karena faktor kondisi atau latar belakang keluarga, ketidak setaraan sosial. Peran sekolah merupakan solusi yang tepat dalam upaya menanggulangi kenakalan remaja sebagai tindak kejahatan yang dapat terjadi di ruang lingkup sekolah.
