Description The background of this research is to find out about the identification of the crime of homicide using the means of proof through fingerprints at the Iden Unit of the Satreskrim Polres, Pasuruan City. So it is necessary to have a discussion in the process of taking fingerprints and the function of fingerprints as a means of identification in the investigation process at the Iden Unit of the Satreskrim Polres Pasuruan city, Barriers experienced in the use of fingerprints as a means of identification in the Unit Iden Satreskrim Polres Pasuruan city. By using research methods empirical juridical approach to understand and approach the object of research.
