Description ABSTRACTA common problem that occurs in research locations is the low understanding of farmers about agricultural extension factors so that farm productivity is relatively low. This research was conducted in Binuang Village, Balusu Subdistrict, Barru Regency, with the aim to determine the impact of agricultural counseling on the productivity of lowland rice and to determine the factors of agricultural extension which have a significant and the most dominant influence on the productivity of lowland rice. This research was conducted through a survey method using a questionnaire on 40 respondents who were tested by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Multiple Linear Regression.             The results of this study were obtained (i) agricultural counseling has an impact on increasing productivity of lowland rice; (ii) agricultural extension factors that have a significant effect on the productivity of lowland rice are the frequency of counseling, farmer membership, extension methods and extension materials. Keywords: agricultural extension factor; productivity; and paddy rice.
