Description  Notaris merupakan sosok pejabat umum yang mendapatkan kepercayaan dari negara untuk melayani kepentingan rakyat dalam aspek yang strategis atau bahkan fundamental. Problem yang ditangani notaris inilah diantaranya yang membuat notaris adalah harus diikat dengan norma-norma yuridis dan etis.  Dalam norma yuridis seperti Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2014 Tentang Perubahan Atas Undang-Undang Nomor 30 Tahun 2004 Tentang Jabatan Notaris. mesti mengandung kekuatan memaksa atau mengikat, yang secara filosofis bermakna bukan hanya untuk menjaga notaris sebagai pengemban atau pelaksana profesi hukum, tetapi juga demi memberikan perlindungan terhadap kepentingan asasi rakyat, dalam hal ini pemohon yang menghadapnya untuk meminta dilayani kepentingnnya.Kata kunci: notaris, norma, memaksa, profesi, kewibawaan Notary public officials are gaining the trust of the state to serve the interests of the people in strategic or even fundamental aspects. The problem that this notary is handling is that the notary is to be tied with juridical and ethical norms. In juridical norms such as the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 2 of 2014 on the amendment to Law No. 30 of 2004 on notary department, must containt forces of force or binding, which is philosophically meaningful not only to keep a notary as a developer or an executive of the law profession but also to provide protection againts the human interest of the people, in this case the applicant who faced him to ask to be served the importance. Keywords: notary, norm, force, profession, authority
