Summary, etc. The research was motivated from learning strategies centered on teachers who make students less active. This was due to be implemented in school lessons still run conventionally. One of the alternatives that could be taken to overcome this was by implementing cooperative learning STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) using comic graphic media. This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD using comic graphic media in the wake material cube space in the class V 02 Laren MI Muhammadiyah Lamongan in the academic year of 2013/2014 in terms of (1) the level of learning students mastery; (2) the level of student’ activity; (3) the level of teacher’ activity or the ability to manage learning; and (4) the level of student responses. This study was conducted in  MI 02Muhammadiyah Laren Lamongan with research subjects number of 17 fifth grade students in math class with materials cube space. Data taken in this study included data on mastery learning students through tests of student learning outcomes, student’s activities, teacher’s activities and students' response to STAD cooperative learning by using comic graphic media. The method used was by analyzing the test results of student learning, student activity sheets, teacher activity sheets and student questionnaire responses. From the analysis results obtained conclusion that (1) the percentage of students in classical learning completeness declared complete by 94.1%; (2) the percentage of students' active activities amounted to 88.25% with an active category; (3) The percentage of active activity of teachers manage the learning of 89.15% with both categories; and (4) the percentage of positive responses of students amounted to 96.47% in both categories. Thus, STAD cooperative learning by using comic graphic media on the material cube space effectively applied in class V MI Muhammadiyah Lamongan 02 Laren in the academic year of 2013/2014.
