Summary, etc. Rice plant (oryza sativa L.) is an important food plants that have become the staple food of more than half the world's population. In indonesia, rice is the main commodity in the food menyongkong community. According to BPS data, consumption of rice in 2011 reach 139 kg capita-1 year-1 with a population of 237 million people, so that the national rice consumption in 2011 reaching 34 million tons. The demand for rice continues to increase in line with the rate of population growth that is faster than the growth of food production are available. The planting system settings and age appropriate seeds, as well as the use of superior varieties of rice in addition to effective in plant growth is also efficient in time and get the optimal productivity.        The research was funded in the village Maindu, district Kedungpring, Kabubaten Lamongan. Height of approximately 10 meters from sea level. Design method of Random factorial (RAK) Group, which consists of 2 factors and each factor consists of 3 levels. Factor I namely trunks (J) consists of 3 levels namely: J1 = planting distance 20 cm x 20 cm; J2 = trunks 3:1 (20 x 20 x 20 cm x 35 cm x15cm); J3 = trunks 4:1 (20 x 20 x 20 x 20 cm x 15 cm x35cm) whereas Factor II: range of rice varieties (V) consists of 3 levels namely: V1 = varieties Ciherang; V2 = ultra Ciherang seed varieties; V3 = Inpari Sidenuk varieties. Both of these factors in combination treatment gained 9 in repeated 3 times. Conclusion on the results of the planting rows pengaruhsistem legowo penelitihan and range of varieties against growth and production of rice (Oryza sativa l.) is the interaction between the system of planting rows legowo and range of varieties at crop height parameter (14, 42, 49, 56 and hst), the number of chicks (14, 28, 35 and 42 hst), number of plantlets produktiv, wet grain weight per sample, and the weight of dried grain per sample. A real difference in the range of varieties against long, the weight of the dried grain panicles per swath, and the weight of 1000 seeds, and planting rows legowo system treatment 3:1 and varieties of inpari sidenok (J2V3) generates a better value compared to other treatments.
